THE DETAILS.
So, What Exactly Is Marathon Day And What Makes It Different?
A standard boudoir session with me is still a beautiful, personalized experience. The difference with Marathon Day is in how much of the experience is built around you from beginning to end.
With a standard session, we photograph in my regular studio setting, hair and makeup are arranged separately. You’ll coordinate your own glam appointment before your session and arrive ready to photograph.
Marathon Day is designed to make the entire experience feel more seamless. Your session takes place at a private location selected exclusively for Marathon Day, with professional hair and makeup included and taking place on-site before we begin photographing. You don’t have to coordinate appointments, travel between locations, or plan the details around your session. You simply arrive, settle in, and and simply enjoy the experience.
Marathon Day also gives us something a standard session simply doesn’t: time. With several hours together, there’s room to settle in, change looks, take breaks, enjoy the space, and photograph without feeling like we need to rush from one thing to the next. It allows the experience to feel relaxed and unhurried, with time to enjoy the day as much as the photographs themselves.
Both options are designed to create beautiful, intimate imagery. Marathon Day simply gives you a little more time, a little more space, and a fully considered experience from the moment you arrive.
What's New For our upcoming Marathon Day?
[ 01. THE EVE ]
We know that having your photographs taken, especially in an intimate setting, can bring a few nerves. The Eve is our way of taking some of the unknown out of the experience. An intimate slumber soirée the night before Marathon Day. You’ll connect with your photographer and HMU artist, ask all your questions, walk through the space, and settle in before the big day. Your invitation to The Eve, along with the full event details, will be emailed to you once your Marathon Day booking is complete.
[ 02. A PRIVATE ESTATE ]
Each year, we select a private and distinctive location exclusively for Marathon Day. These are spaces I don’t use for regular sessions, giving the day a sense of privacy and occasion and offering you the opportunity to experience somewhere you may not otherwise have access to.
This January, Marathon Day will take place at a beautiful private estate in Phoenix, Arizona. A dreamy getaway without ever leaving the Valley.
The home was chosen for its natural light, intimate atmosphere, and effortless beauty, with:

Every element of the home lends itself beautifully to the kind of imagery we love to create: refined, intimate, natural, and timeless. From the architecture to the smallest details, the space provides a beautiful backdrop while still feeling warm, inviting, and lived-in.

Instead of one hour, you’ll now have 90 minutes with me for your Marathon Day session. NINETY. MINUTES. So much more time to create and make magic.

EXCLUSIVE LOCATION
Your session will take place at a private, hand-selected Phoenix estate, reserved exclusively for our 2027 Marathon Days.
ON-SITE HAIR & MAKEUP
Professional hair and makeup with Tiffany of Dolled Up Luxe, completed on location before your session so you can arrive, be pampered, and feel completely prepared before we begin.
CURATED GALLERY + TURNAROUND
You’ll receive a curated collection of professionally edited color and black & white images, thoughtfully selected to reflect the natural flow and variety of your session. Gallery delivery: 4–6 weeks.
PRIVATE ONLINE GALLERY
Your finished photographs will be delivered through a private, downloadable online gallery.
YOUR PRIVACY
When you book, you’ll choose the level of media consent you’re comfortable with. Nothing is ever shared publicly without your prior approval. If you choose to grant media consent, you’ll also have the opportunity to approve the specific images before anything is shared on social media.

INVESTMENT
BOUDOIR SESSION INVESTMENT — $795
Sessions reserved after the early-bird deadline will be available at the regular investment.
*Flexible payment plans are available.
PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP — $250
Marathon Day is designed as a complete, elevated experience, and professional hair and makeup with Tiffany of Dolled Up Luxe is required with every Marathon Day boudoir session.
You’ll receive two separate agreements: one for photography and one for hair and makeup, but both services are required to reserve your Marathon Day experience.
*The $250 hair and makeup rate is exclusive to Marathon Day and is only available as part of your Marathon Day booking.
